Went in for chest pain and a elevated heart rate but I was only disregarded and it took a pretty long while for the doctor to come around only to basically be told that I must be imagining it by the doctor. I've always gone to another one nearby that I will not name but this time around I choose the closest one. I just felt that the staff was lacking care and professionalism. The nurse didn't seem like she wanted to be there but the thing that was the worst was being ignored and spoken to in a sarcastic tone that would definitely not make a person who is unwell feel any better. My PCP reffered me to a cardiologist and we found that indeed, I was not imagining these things since I had them going on for a while it was a cause for concern. Long story short I have an autoimmune disease and my PCP also referred me to a Rheumatologist. Do not recommend even if you're in need of attention. There are better places and seeing their rating after searching them up I'm not at all surprised. Also remember that if you feel something is wrong, please do not let any providers make you feel like you're crazy or think "It's in your head/anxiety". Yes, they know a lot but not everything so please listen to you gut because that may be what saves you life at some point. If I could give this place 0 stars I would.

This facility is unprofessional and unorganized. The nurse assigned (E) from our emergency admission lacked the professionalism and empathy required to even be a nurse. All communication was off. The nurse never verified or identified Pt info before administering meds. She had an attitude because we simply asked what was being given (because Pt requested pain meds) and we had no clue to if it had been given due to nurse just coming in and admistering meds w/o informing what's being given. The was even an time she came in and asked me where the PT was. Clearly that was another sign to lack of communication amongst staff. I won't even mention how the PT rights was violated by the amount of different staff continuously walking in the room w/o knocking or introducing themselves before entering the room. I also wanted to give insights on the lack of safety protocols. There was dirty needs and blood mark on the counters when I entered the room. These things should be discarded immediately after use, not just laying around. More importantly the nurse and doctor left out important test results that where found. Pt didn't find result findings until placing a follow-up call for a different test result  that wasn't given when discharged.

I want to give a huge thank you to Georgina in the ER. She made me feel comfortable in a moment when I really needed it. She was compassionate, patient, and so caring. She made sure my child was okay every step of the way and treated us with genuine kindness. I truly appreciated the way she kept me calm and explained everything clearly. She went above and beyond for us, and I’m so grateful for her help. 🙏🏻🙏🏻

ENT is a waste of time and money at this hospital. Go somewhere else if you can. The doctor clearly doesn’t care at all about his patients. The nurses are very polite, and unfortunately have to overcompensate for his malpractices. I was seen for maybe 5 minutes total, worst doctor I’ve ever had seriously. Feel bad for anyone that has to be around that grump.

I was taken here by ambulance while experiencing severe cardiac distress—the kind of medical crisis that should be triaged immediately. Instead, I was ignored, mocked, and endangered.

The medics and ER staff were dismissive from the start. Despite knowing my recent cardiac history, they dumped me into the ER where a nurse was laughing and joking with a family who’d been in a fender-bender.

I sat there for minutes in obvious crisis, completely unacknowledged. When I tried to get help, the nurse yelled at me—saying I should be grateful to even sit there, threatening to throw me out if I didn’t shut up.

A security guard mocked me, saying “looks like you’re fine to walk” as I struggled to save my own life.

Worst of all: when I was sent to a so-called “waiting room,” a man pulled out his genitals and began masturbating directly in front of me while I was weak, terrified, and trying not to collapse. I screamed. Security eventually threw him out, but only after I’d been completely violated and endangered—while cops stood by and did nothing.

This is not a hospital. This is a liability factory full of negligence, cruelty, and danger. I could have died. Instead of care, I got verbal abuse, sexual assault under their watch, and total indifference from every so-called professional in that ER.

Norwegian Hospital should be ashamed to even call themselves a medical facility. The nurse, the security guards, and every single person who ignored my medical emergency should be fired immediately.

If you value your safety, GO ANYWHERE ELSE. St. Mary’s, Rush, anywhere—but do not put your life in the hands of these incompetent, heartless people.
