This hospital has gone down hill. The nurses are amazing but my child was brought in my ambulance from their sister hospital to be released not even 12 hours later with the same emergent problems she has to begin with. 2 blood transfusions and an iron transfusion then send her home. Not only that we seen resident drs more than we seen an actual physician but they “guess” her problem without any test to show any evidence of their guesses. I definitely won’t be returning and would have given 0 stars if it wasn’t for the amazing nurses they have.

I was recently life flighted.from Havana, Illinois to OSF because I had a heart attack.  I am so glad they asked me where I wanted to go, I  was in ICU for 3 days an̈d the nurses I had were amazing!  Thank you Fred, Heather and Sam. You were all amazing! I hope if I have to go in̈ the hospital again , it will be here. This place is well worth coming to. Thank you so much for your care.

4th floor nurses and doctors were absolutely incredible. My family member was just in the hospital after having gastric bypass surgery. Norah, Aileen, Jeremy, Melanie just to name a few (I can’t remember all the names) were absolutely incredible! They took time to explain everything that was going on (medications they were giving etc..)

I am currently a patient at this hospital. I was brought in for a heart attack. The cath lab was great, probably saved my life. Went to the ICU for a night no issues there, couldn't sleep because the procedure required me to stay flat on my back, just to uncomfortable, the staff did what they could,  no issues. I was then moved to non-emergent care. With a room mate, this unfortunate man said he was having sinus problems and couldn't breathe. His malady kept both of us up all night. I have sympathy for him, the staff would spin him evertime he said something on the overnight shift. I asked to be moved so Mayberry i could get some sleep and recover but also was spun with a "i understand" but nothing done. This poor man had many medical issues and should not even have a roommate for his own good. There are rooms open can't wait to get the reason/excuse from the people in charge of these decisions. Emergency, ICU, CATH LAB all wonderful, but how does that not continue through the whole hospital

Hospital staff very friendly and knowledgeable. The for profit medical administration does not do a very good job. The cafeteria food was horrendous. Spent 10 dollars and had to throw the food away. The cafeteria looks like skid row. Also, I need to worry about my car too while my love one needs medical treatment cause the hospital administration is not taking any responsibility for my vehicle parked in their parking garage.
