The hospital's layout may pose challenges for first-time visitors, but subsequent visits to the Family Birth Center proved to be manageable. The care provided by doctors, nurses, and staff was exceptional. We would give the hospital a five-star rating for its staff, but it averages three stars due to two main issues - the parking fee of at least $5 for the first hour seems excessive for patients and visitors alike, and the hospital room food was consistently cold and unappetizing regardless of the dish ordered.

Fortunately, Methodist Hospital is a 45-minute drive from our home, and our preferred choice, Maple Grove Hospital, is significantly closer. Maple Grove Hospital stands out as an exceptional healthcare provider with outstanding staff, palatable food, and complimentary parking, making it our go-to choice for the best hospital experience.

This is a 5 star Hotel Hospital, from the Terrazzo floors to the gowns and socks layed out on the bed waiting to be worn! Next, is the Outstanding Staff that accommodate you right up to the Dr. And Anesthesiologist, very thorough and getting you on your way! Everyone smiling and welcoming you, asking if you need anything to letting you know what will be taking place, as long as you and or someone with you can retain the information! To the Nurses, you are needed and You matter! Thank you to everyone for the job you do!

I am not a patient or client but I wanted to express how grateful I am for the kind people who work at this hospital.  I am a relative and the only one who is watching out for my uncle.  Every time I call and speak to a desk clerk, operator or a nurse I always have a warm and caring response from each of them.  I am a former nurse myself so I know how crazy it can get during a shift.  I just wanted to express a big “well done” to the people who work at Methodist Hospital.

HORRIBLE experience! Would definitely not recommend and in fact would change my insurance rather than go back there!
I had a 10 hour cervical surgery on a Wednesday and got to my room at 8:30 pm. The next morning (Thursday), the discharge nurse came to talk about releasing me on Friday. I told her my pain was not under control. They did release me at noon on Friday because I passed PT and OT and "upped" my Oxy for pain management. (I really felt like I was being kicked out, and was not given enough information on what to expect going forward.) My pain shifted to my back on Saturday and I ended up in the Methodist ER for 6 hours. They just gave me the same pain meds I had been prescribed and wanted me to take an MRI. I couldn't even lie still I was in so much pain. At 2am, we just walked out without any resolution. It was also a HORRIBLE experience.

My son had an accident that found us visiting the Methodist Emergency Room, and safe to say it was a terrible experience.  The level of unprofessionalism was astonishing.
Emergency rooms get busy, I completely understand that, but we waited in the hallway for over an hour, and then waited and waited for the doctor to come in.  When he did arrive 3 hours later we were met with this arrogance and he rushed through all of the information.
If I hadn't asked the questions and pushed for more information I would have left that hospital unclear on after care and next steps.
Should I ever find my family in another unfortunate accident, I will drive out of my way to avoid Methodist Emergency Room.
